brought the ombre back

a couple of years ago, i finally decided to lighten my hair.  i only trust certain people with my hair and being that my hair was virgin at the time, i was really nervous, so of course i turned to my cousin charrie.  (she is now does make up for celebrities.  check out her site:  http://charrielanette.com/) 
after awhile, of course, in true mel fashion, i let my hair grow out and didn't die it to cover it up.  but, i was approached by a friend and she asked me who did my ombre die.  i had to let her down and let her know that i actually just let my hair grow out.  lucky me, my hair was in fashion and i didn't even know.  lol
so i've rocked the ombre on and off for the last couple of years.  and i wanted to bring it back again.  i found a picture that i was inspired by and showed it to my friend iya.





we scheduled time before i went to coachella and this (picture below) is what she did for me.  to be honest with you, i was a little leery at first.  i am actually always like that with everything.  but, i told her to let me sleep on this before i decide to make any other changes. and i'm glad we didn't change anything.  i woke up in the morning and LOVEEEDDDD my hair.  and so did everyone else.
