training 3/3 short blurb

last night as we were driving to the gym, i realized i forgot to drill list. oopsy, i did know that the beginers were to swim 1000 meters total and intermediate 1600 total.

i decided to take it easy since i was already tired from earlier and just do the 1000 meters (40 laps). so i decided to do the drills that have been helping my improve my stroke (14 laps, 350 meters) and just take it from there . so i started with a 50, and then a 200, a 300, a 200. then i stopped and did the math...hellloooo i already swam 1100 meters. i didn't have my watch and the clock on the wall is wayyy to small and far to read...but i knew not much time had even passed at all. so i just kept swimming...a 200 here, 300 there, 200, 100. i don't know exactly how much i swam last night, but i guess i'm much faster than i thought i was. and i just felt like i was a little fishy going much smoother through water.
